TESSA is Argyll and Bute Rape Crisis’s Youth Project for young people of secondary school age which aims to raise awareness of issues surrounding internet safety, cyber-bullying and grooming. It also seeks to challenge inappropriate behaviour.
We deliver a range of age-appropriate interactive workshops to schools, parents groups and youth clubs which are designed to be interactive and fun while still giving information, tips and hints on how to keep safe on and off-line.
Some of the topics we cover include - Cyber-bullying, Internet safety, Sexual harassment, Sexual abuse, Peer pressure, Consent, Grooming, Body image.
We also offer free and confidential support to young people (aged 12+) in a variety of ways:- Face to Face - in person with one of our youth workers at our Centre or at a place that is comfortable and safe or at school.
